Following your breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to your destination. The Valley of the monarchs, an architectural masterpiece that functioned as a burial site, is home to countless monarchs' graves. The most well-known tombs are those of King Tutmosis I, King Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramses VI, King Mrenptah, and Amonhotep II.
then continue to observe Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmosis I and the only female pharaoh to reign ancient Egypt, built the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as El Dir El Bahari. During the 18th Dynasty (about 1490-1469 B.C. ), she governed Egypt for around 20 years, during which time the temple was built.
The Colossi of Memnon, the remnants of Amenhotep III's funeral temple, will be our next stop. After that, we'll have lunch at a local restaurant before dropping you off at your hotel for the evening.
